There are so many good moments in this story and little Anya brings it all together! Teenage crush, slow-burn, single-dad! Perfect combination!

I enjoyed this story and so happy I jumped to read it even though I hadnโ€™t read the others.

Isabel has had a rough life and is a very independent strong willed person but deep down she knows her match is out there.

Aiden is looking for a new start with his daughter and moving closer to his family will give them that opportunity. Heโ€™s locked himself mentally not even thinking of new relationships or even love. His goal is his little girl and the gym he just purchased. Until Isabel comes to his life and he tries everything and anything to avoid the feelings heโ€™s having.

There are so many good moments in this story and little Anya brings it all together! Teenage crush, slow-burn, single-dad! Perfect combination!

Giulio & Valencia

Great debut for this author. I'll be honest I expected something different when I saw the MC name. I was expecting a Mafia story mix with the personal struggle of the character's marriage.

This story is wrapped around the marriage of Giulio and Valencia, their love for each other, and the everyday struggle they are going through after their tragic event. Full of deep emotions and the sacrifices one makes for their family.

The story is a bit slow pace in the beginning but then picks up so fast, everything starts happening at once. It's well written and overall a good story.

๐—”๐—•๐—ข๐—จ๐—ง ๐—ง๐—›๐—˜ ๐—•๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž:

A feud rages in Gilded Age New York City between newspaper tycoons William Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer. When Grace Harrington lands a job at Hearst's newspaper in 1896, sheโ€™s caught in a cutthroat world where one scoop can make or break your career, but itโ€™s a story emerging from Cuba that changes her life.

Unjustly imprisoned in a notorious Havana women's jail, eighteen-year-old Evangelina Cisneros dreams of a Cuba free from Spanish oppression. When Hearst learns of her plight and splashes her image on the front page of his paper, proclaiming her, "The Most Beautiful Girl in Cuba," she becomes a rallying cry for American intervention in the battle for Cuban independence.

With the help of Marina Perez, a courier secretly working for the Cuban revolutionaries in Havana, Grace and Hearst's staff attempt to free Evangelina. But when Cuban civilians are forced into re-concentration camps and the explosion of the USS Maine propels the United States and Spain toward war, the three women must risk everything in their fight for freedom.

Descendants of the founder of the Guinness beer empire, they were the toast of 1920s high society, darlings of the press, with not a care in the world. But Felicity knows better. Sent to live with them as a child because her mother could no longer care for her, she grows up as the sistersโ€™ companion. Both an outsider and a part of the family, she witnesses the complex lives upstairs and downstairs, sees the compromises and sacrifices beneath the glamorous surface. Then, at a party one summerโ€™s evening, something happens that sends shock waves through the entire household.

I was looking forward to this book after reading the synopsis and seeing so many great reviews. It just was not for me. I picked it up 4x to read it and each time I got through some chapters it was just bizarre. The writing felt like two different people were writing the story the grammar was weird to me.

I know a lot of people loved this book but it just wasn't for me.
